We arrived jet lagged from US and ordered a taxi ahead of time through the hotel. It was craziness, hundreds of people looking for their taxis as well. The guy was late but we got to our hotel. We arrived at our hotel jet lagged and early (11 am) and was told our room was not ready yet but the receptionist would update us. Check in is in the afternoon so we understood and sat in the lounge area and within 10 minutes our room was ready. We had booked a room with a balcony and it was beautiful looking out towards the Vatican surrounding by walls. You are literally across from the entrance to the Vatican Museum . There is a grocery store and a cute Italian restaurant (archi something) right down the street, plenty of places for gelato. But the best thing I like as a first timer as I started to get my bearings walking around in Rome is that you can follow the Vatican walls right into St Peter's Square and not get lost. Breakfast is right off the lobby with fresh fruit, pastries and warm food like eggs and bacon. They also have a roof top patio and you can take your breakfast up the elevator and look out over beautiful Rome. The best part was dealing with the receptionist Sylvia or Sylvie, she is wonderful. Helped us with our horrible Italian, giving us directions to restaurants and little things we should know. She is a gem for this hotel!!!! Everyone went to Sylvia if they needed help. We were with a Rick Steve's tour but we came a day early and she made us feel welcomed and at home which was so helpful to me as a first time European traveler.

Very nice hotel. Decor was traditional and in keeping with the surroundings. Staff were amazing from start to finish. Paolo, who I hope you’re fortunate enough to meet when you stay, is an absolute gentleman. Very professional but friendly and understanding at the same time. Just across the road from The Vatican plus the subway is only 5 minutes away. Get to Cipro, the closest station, then the Italian Metro system opens Rome up to you! Loved every minute! Was nice and warm, over 30 degrees when we stayed. Yes, you’ll be hot for a bit but bear with it as when you get on the trains, or in the stores or malls, the cool AC is there to greet you. Loved it! Lived it! Loved it! Booking.com helps immensely. Not only for hotels but all your travel and tickets for attractions can be sorted in the app as well! Bellissimo!!!

It's really great location 1-minute walking from Vatican Museums, about 10-minutes walking from St. Peter's Cathedral and the square. Metro station Line A is just 5-minutes walking, so it's easy to get to Roma Termini. Room was simple but comfortable and clean. Also very nice interior in the hitel hall and shared living room on the ground floor. Also there they suggested 24/7 coffee/tea service which is really great!

The best thing that the hotel has is the staff: very nice, polite and always smiling. 10+ The second great thing is the location: few minutes from the metro station Ottaviano, a few steps from Musei di Vatican. The room is pretty small, but just enough for a city brake. Also, it was very warm all the time, we had 2 pillows each, the mattress was really good and the sheets are made from a very nice and soft material.

Location was about 200 m from Vatican museum. We walked from hotel to Pantheon one evening, I initially thought it would be too far, so all around good location. I booked a deluxe room and we had a private balcony. Room was very spacious and big updated bathroom. Rooftop terrace also a nice addition. Breakfast was basic with good variety to start off a busy day. Front desk staff extremely friendly and helpful.
